WE DID IT! 30 days, 3,484 miles Portland to Savannah
It has certainly been a journey. Thank you for following our adventure. We had lots of fun...and lots of hard days physically and sometimes emotionally. Writing to you each day kept me connected to my real life and also allowed me to reflect on the day. I feel like it is going to take a little while to process this trip and assimilate my experiences on the bike with my life at home.
Home. Can't wait.
Thank you Willy for your love and support. None of this is possible without you. You always encourage me to follow my heart.
Tomorrow I will be sightseeing in the Old Historic Downtown Savannah. I hear it is lovely and we will be off the bike for the first day since July 5. Flying home on Wednesday morning.

Congratulations, Lori- thanks for going to the extra effort of posting your log for all of us vicarious transam fans when you must've been feeling like the last thing you felt like doing was bang on a computer keyboard!
